  • Review of English/Metric measurement terminology

  • Interpreting flatness and parallelism in micrometers using optical parallels and a mono-chromatic light source

  • Overview of Calibration procedures and tolerances for Measuring and Test Equipment

  • Calibration labels and stickers; establishing  calibration frequencies

  • Review of precision measurement: class exercises
