Proper handling and care of gage blocks
Review of English/Metric measurement terminology
Interpreting flatness and parallelism in micrometers using optical parallels and a mono-chromatic light source
Overview of Calibration procedures and tolerances for Measuring and Test Equipment
Calibration labels and stickers; establishing calibration frequencies
Review of precision measurement: class exercises
